UPEI Starts Second Half Hosting Moncton and UNB

Charlottetown - Starting the second half on the right foot is what UPEI (6-7-2) men’s hockey coach Forbie MacPherson is looking for as UPEI hosts Moncton ( 3-11) on Friday and UNB ( 15-0) on Saturday at MacLauchlan Arena. Both games start at 7pm.

"Every weekend is huge in this conference and the difference between each team is minimal," MacPherson said. "Against Moncton it is really important that we get off on the right foot to start the second half. Obviously it’s a very big game for us," he added.

UPEI lost 3-2 to Acadia in exhibition play on Tuesday night in the team’s only action since December 4.
